The next UKPGS meeting will be held on Friday, 24th January 2020. The venue will be the same as last year at 99 City Road Conference Centre, London.
As in previous years, the meeting will provide the opportunity to hear about new developments about paediatric glaucoma, share case studies and network with others who look after, and have an interest in, paediatric glaucoma patients.

We are delighted that the Noel Rice Lecturer for the 2020 meeting will be Miss Maria Papadopoulos, Moorfields Eye Hospital, London.
Maria Papadopoulos is a consultant ophthalmic surgeon in the Glaucoma Service at Moorfields Eye Hospital with a subspecialist interest in paediatric glaucoma. She completed her ophthalmology training at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in Melbourne, Australia. She then joined the Glaucoma Service at Moorfields as a glaucoma fellow followed by a specific fellowship in paediatric glaucoma before being appointed as a consultant, and is now the Director of the Paediatric Glaucoma Service.
She was the chief investigator of the British Infantile/Childhood Glaucoma (BIG) Eye study (2007), the first prospective, national population based study of paediatric glaucoma in the United Kingdom. Maria also has an interest in developing world glaucoma and is a visiting consultant with ORBIS in paediatric glaucoma.
